I’m going to try and update this on Sundays with my recent finished pieces, any progress I’ve made on larger projects and whatever random thoughts I have from the week.

A week of work which overall was fine. I’ve really liked the medical symbol the Rod of Asclepius. I also really like being a pedantic ass who knows the difference between the Rod of Asclepius (single snake around a staff) that symbolizes medicine and the Caduceus (double snake around winged staff) that is the symbol of Hermes and represents travel and commerce. I often use my ipad at work and wanted a background of the Rod of Asclepius but couldn’t figure out a specific design I liked so instead I drew a study of a statue of Asclepius found on Wikipedia.

In the Elden Ring DLC you can fight a creature known as St. Romina of the Bud who is a lady fused with a centipede with a scorpion tail.

Wikipedia’s photo of the day (I think it was March 24th?) was a Hyacinth Macaw, a parrot native to South America. Not the best bird I’ve drawn but it’s okay. The proportions are a bit off and I did not give the wings enough room to really show how graceful it looked in the photo.
