Cagliostro Forever 2026

At the beginning of 2026 I set an art goal that I wanted to work towards making pieces to submit for exhibition/showing. I had the idea this would take years to get “good enough.” While looking at upcoming shows/exhibitions I came across Cagliostro Forever, an immersive art exhibition looking for dark art. I was immediately drawn to it due to my enjoyment of “dark art.” My idea was to illustrate the mystic Cagliostro meeting several “angels” throughout history at times and places associated with disasters. I learned a lot doing these and am genuinely happy with how they turned out. Each piece is 14 x 17 inches so much larger than my usual pieces. The third piece even got selected and will be on display March 6 & 7th at Cagliostro Forever https://www.thecoinlives.com/events.

In the 50s there was a Great Smog of London due to a number of industrial and environmental factors but here we can Atuesuel filling Piccadilly Square with smog while Cagliostro stands on unphased.

The Mystic Meeting the Angel Chauakiah, the “Joy of God.” Strasbourg FR, Date Unknown. Strasbourg is known for being the site of the Dancing Plague of 1518 and here we can see the mystic meeting the angel at the Strasbourg cathedral.
